Customer Validation Lifecycle
Protect the Taste is validated with maple producers in stages, each one answering a question before the next begins. This page says where the pilot is in that sequence.
1. Discover
Do producers see a need to prove where their syrup comes from and how it grades?
Status: not started. No producer interviews have been held. The survey is drawn from the mission statement.
2. Validate the problem
Is that need strong enough that a farm would change how it works to address it?
Status: not started.
3. Validate the solution
Does an agent that reports on its own, with a farmer's approval by security key, fit how a sugarhouse actually runs?
Status: in progress. The approval demo is a mock-up for producers to react to.
4. Pilot with a farm
Does one real farm keep using it through a season?
Status: not started. There are no registered producers yet.
5. Verify the data
Are the agent's measurements accurate enough to back a grade proposal?
Status: not started. It is the project's next milestone.
6. Extend
Does it hold up beyond the first farm, across producers and states?
Status: not started.
